DSS helps Arnold Clark switch tyres to trainers for the Glasgow 2017 Kiltwalk

Four enthusiastic DSS Automatic Doors staff members are set to join the thousands of walkers participating in Glasgow’s 2017 Kiltwalk – occurring Sunday 30 April.

The popular Kiltwalk events, organised by Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, give walkers a choice of distances ranging from 6 to 23 miles. DSS staff are participating in the longest walk, which will see them begin at Glasgow Green before trekking through the city and beyond to finish in Balloch Park on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Walkers are free to fundraise on behalf of a charity or cause of their own choosing. The DSS staff are participating in partnership with staff from Arnold Clark. All fundraising contributions will support their chosen charity – Glasgow Children’s Hospital.

DSS is also pleased to offer a company contribution towards the fundraising total, of which 100% will reach the Glasgow Children’s Hospital charity.

John Graham, Managing Director at DSS Automatic Doors, said: “We are proud to be in a position to support our colleagues and our friends at Arnold Clark in this challenge. They have so far raised an impressive £2,765 which we will be pleased to increase further with our own contributions."

"Fingers crossed the temperamental Scottish weather is kind to all the walkers come Sunday. We wish them all the best!”
